HOW TO MAKE SKETCHES
With the help of 2b pencil, and a photograph draw a girl's face.
Lightly shade the hair and clothes. Draw strokes in the same direction as that of the hair and lightly smudge them with cloth to create midtones.
Enhance the features of the face such as the eyes to give definition to the face. Using a 4b pencil, fill in the picture with darker strokes.
With the help of a 4b pencil, add the details of the face and the clothes. Smudge lightly in the same direction to create the soft feel of skin.
Use the sharp edge of an eraser and rub off part of the hair to show strands. Also add highlights to folds of her clothes.
